Core terms and wallet fundamentals.
About GlobalSwap
GlobalSwap is a registration-free crypto swap interface that connects to live markets for instant exchanges. You can choose floating or fixed rates and track every order live from the tracking page.
What is the recipient's address?
It is the wallet address where the swapped coins will be delivered. Each crypto has its own address format, so make sure the address matches the selected asset and network. Double-check it before confirming the exchange.
What are public and private keys?
A public key is your wallet address used to receive funds. A private key is the secret that controls your wallet. Never share your private key with anyone.
What is a MEMO, destination tag, or payment ID?
Some networks require an extra identifier (MEMO, tag, payment ID) so exchanges can route funds to the correct account. If it is required, always include it exactly as shown.
Transactions
Blockchain confirmations and movement of funds.
What is a transaction hash?
A transaction hash (txid) is the unique ID of a blockchain transfer. You can paste it into a block explorer to see confirmations and full transaction details.
How to cancel a cryptocurrency transaction?
Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be reversed. If you think there was a mistake (wrong network or address), contact GlobalSwap support immediately so we can check for any possible recovery options.
What is the network fee?
Network fees are paid to blockchain miners/validators to include transactions in blocks. If the fee is too low, confirmations can take longer.
Rates and timing
How quotes, final amount, and status flow work.
What is the difference between floating and fixed rates?
Floating rate swaps follow market price changes, so the final receive amount can be slightly higher or lower. Fixed rate swaps lock the receive amount for a short time window, protecting you from volatility.
How long does it take to exchange coins?
Most swaps finish in a few minutes, but some can take longer depending on network confirmations and swap processing. You can always monitor progress in the live tracker.
What are the exchange statuses?
Typical statuses are: Waiting (send deposit), Confirming (network confirmations), Exchanging (swap in progress), Sending (payout on the way), and Completed.
Limits and security
Boundaries, compliance checks, and fee composition.
Are there minimum or maximum limits?
Some assets have minimum and maximum swap limits based on network rules and liquidity. If your amount is too small, the quote will show a validation message.
Do you require KYC?
In rare cases, a swap may require verification if a transaction triggers risk checks. If this happens, support will guide you through the required steps.
How are fees calculated?
The quote includes the swap rate plus the service fee shown in the quote summary. Network fees depend on the blockchain and can vary.
